Case Study: Modernizing Campaign Management with a Scalable, Multi-Brand SaaS Platform

When most companies think about modernizing, they picture a visual upgrade — maybe a cleaner UI, a smoother dashboard, or faster load times.

But true modernization goes deeper.

It’s about building a system that evolves with your business, supports scale, adapts to real-world workflows, and can embed intelligence at the core. This is what we call AI-ready architecture — and it’s what most teams miss.

The transformation we delivered for Nexta, a fast-growing SaaS advertising platform from Denmark, is a perfect example of what smart modernization actually looks like in practice.

🚧 From Legacy Bloat to Lean, Modular Precision

When Nexta approached us, they had a vision:
Replace a bloated, fragmented legacy system with something modern, modular, and built for scale — without losing the campaign logic and user familiarity they’d built over time.

But they weren’t looking for a flashy rebuild.
They needed a business-ready platform in under 3 months. That meant balancing:

  • Complex workflows across 100+ active accounts

  • Multi-role permissions and brand-specific customizations

  • Real-time media planning, analytics, and creative approvals

And doing it all without breaking what already worked.

🛠️ Our Approach: Strategic Modernization with AI-Ready Thinking

At Jazzy, we approached the challenge in phases — designed not just to replace, but to rethink how the platform could operate smarter in the long run.

1. Workshops & Discovery

We started with deep-dive UX workshops to uncover friction points in the legacy system. We mapped workflows across marketing teams, designers, and admins to define real business goals.

2. Information Architecture & Wireframes

Over 100 wireframes were created to align views with user roles, streamline navigation, and reduce unnecessary steps — making space for intelligent triggers in future iterations.

3. Modular, SSR-Ready Frontend

We delivered a fully server-side rendered app (React + Next.js), designed for speed, security, and SEO. The frontend was flexible enough to support future AI-layer components without a full rewrite.

4. Campaign Manager & Preview System

We built a realistic ad preview module — a crucial feature that reduced errors and feedback cycles. Teams could now see what would go live, in context, across different brands and campaigns.

5. Role-Based Admin Panel with GDPR Controls

Multi-level access was implemented for editors, admins, clients, and reviewers — ensuring control and compliance across accounts.

📈 The Business Impact

The results? Immediate and long-term.

  • Faster campaign cycles
Thanks to the new UX and collaborative workflows, creative approvals and onboarding time dropped significantly.

  • Increased platform adoption
A more intuitive UI led to a measurable uptick in user activity — with praise from internal teams and clients alike.

  • Scalable foundation for growth
The architecture now supports new features, brands, and markets — without expensive rework.

  • Higher client satisfaction
Better previews, fewer errors, faster approvals — all leading to improved outcomes for publishers and marketers.

"Nexta was one of those projects where technical precision had to meet real-world complexity. Our challenge was to rebuild a legacy campaign platform into something modular, scalable, and intuitive for both marketers and administrators. We introduced a fully SSR-ready frontend, a flexible dashboard structure, and a realistic ad preview system that minimized publishing errors. The result was a system capable of handling multi-brand structures, granular permissions, and real-time performance tracking — all delivered within a tight, production-ready timeline."
Solution Architect, Jazzy Innovations

„The number of platform users increased after we launched the first new frontend. The usability of the new user interface contributes significantly to those numbers. We’re really happy with Jazzy’s work and are doing more business with them.”

✅ What “AI-Ready” Really Means

AI-readiness isn’t just about plugging in GPT or slapping on an analytics layer.

It’s about architecture — clean, modular, event-driven systems that support:

  • Real-time data flow and decision-making

  • Dynamic user roles and permissions

  • Future automation, insights, and agentic workflows

That’s what we built for Nexta. And that’s what we bring to every modernization project we lead.
